Slavic Gymnasium in Bratislava and Junior Golf Association of Slovakia (AJGOS) opened on 4th October 2007 premises of the "Golf Learning Center" for youth, students and public. This golf campus is the first Youth Golf Training Center founded by AJGOS under the patronage of the Slovak Foundation of Silvia Gašparovičová – Education and Health for Everybody and its project „Let´s open the doors of golf courts to children“.
Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová together with the Slovak Foundation of Silvia Gašparovičová – Education and Health for Everybody holds the patronage over this golf training center. Together with the gymnasium´s founder Mrs. Elvíra Chadimová, the gymnasium´s director Mr. Pavel Spišiak and the Slovak Golf Association representative Mr. Vladimír Balogh she festively opened this golf campus.
The aim of the Junior Golf Association of Slovakia is to create favourable conditions for golf playing of children and youth in Slovakia, but also to motivate schools and centres of spare-time activities to do this sport. Backround for these ideas are Youth Golf Training Centres (TCM). These centres will be founded in golf clubs, schools or school spare-time activities clubs that will fulfil given conditions.
