On 13 May 2014 presented the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Switzerland to Slovakia Alexander Wittwer his letters of credence to the Slovak President Ivan Gašparovič. On this occasion, the spouse of the President of the Slovak Republic Mrs. Silvia  Gašparovičová met wife of the Swiss ambassador Mrs. Anne Marie Wittwer.

During the cordial conversation in the Golden room of the Presidential Palace Mrs. Wittwer appreciated the beauty of Bratislava and its surroundings, which charmed her. In addition, the Slovak First Lady approached the Swiss ambassador's wife other sights and attractions of Slovakia. Mrs. Witter is looking forward to exploring Slovak cuisine and wants to learn Slovak.
