„We are searching for golf talents“ – that´s the name of the project introduced by Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová and the Junior Golf Association of Slovakia (AJGOS) on 26th March 2008. The main aim of AJGOS is to change the way of thinking about golf and to provide access to this sport to everyone in Slovakia. AJGOS also wants efficiently spend the free-time of youth up to 24 years. At interested schools will new training centres be created.
The Slovak Foundation of Silvia Gašparovičová – Education and Health for Everybody realizes in a long-term the projects „Healthy life style in schools“ and „Let´s open the golf courts to children“ to intensify sport activities of children and youth. Many people think golf is only for the rich ones – and this way of thinking AJGOS and Mrs. Gašparovičová want to change. As they say, „golf is a form of relax“. When new golf stars will in Slovakia appear isn´t clear yet, but Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová is convinced thanks to the both projects it will be soon.
