By cutting the ribbon inaugurated on 28th September 2010 the First Lady Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey in Slovakia Mrs. Fatma Kopuz the renovated premises of the Secondary Vocational School for Students with Hearing Impairments at Koceľova street in Bratislava. Reconstruction of the premises was carried out through the project "Hearing Eyes, Talking Hands". As in the introduction meeting the Headmistress Mrs. Eva Kršková stated, the school exists in these premises already for 60 years. "The view for the hearing impaired has changed, it led us to the fact that we have prepared a project ´Hearing Eyes, Talking Hands´. The aim of this project was to make from a narrow dark corridor, mal for communication of our students, a larger lighted area and a new language classroom. In this intention we succeeded, it made us very happy."

Help from the Turkish side also welcomed the First Lady Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová who has helped this school for many times through the Slovak Foundation of Silvia Gašparovičová – Education and Health for Everybody. Recently the Foundation has purchased an interactive board through which students can learn smarter. "In the school some changes are always needed and this one is very benefit. I am glad that this amount of money that you got from Mrs. Hayrünnisa Gül, you used very good. Any help is scarce. It is a great joy when I see these kids how they show their joy and are trying to educate. I am always pleased when I am with you and especially if I can help," said the First Lady.

In addition to students also school visitors will be able to watch digital presentation of the school, information on boards and exposed works of pupils. Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová also viewed the reconstructed language classroom. During the visit of the school guests could see the DIKO School Theater with the play "A Story of Koceľova“.
