On 31.3.-1.4.2010 the Slovak presidential couple absolved an official visit to the Kyrgyz Republic.

Official visit to Kyrgyzstan

After the official welcoming ceremony in the courtyard of the Presidential Palace in Bishkek visited the spouse of the slovak President Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová the G. Ajtiev Museum. Interestingly, in addition to artifacts of Kyrgyz culture and history the museum includes more than 7 thousand exhibits of Kyrgyz, Russian, Soviet and foreign art.

Subsequently, Mrs. Gašparovičová met with spouse of the Kyrgyz President Mrs. Tatiana Bakieva at the presidency residential complex Ala Arča. There at a cup of tea they could together admire the traditional singing, dancing and playing of musical instruments.

After a joint lunch of both presidential couples, Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová and her husband met with compatriots – descendants of Slovaks from the so-called Interhelpo – in the House of Friendship in Bishkek.
