The sum 210 500,- SKK – this exactly amount was collected at the evening part of the 7th annual Gardenparty. Also this year was this event organized by the non-formal association of Foreign Chambers of Commerce in Slovakia in cooperation with the Slovak Foundation of Silvia Gašparovičová – Education and Health for Everybody. The evening part took place on 13 June 2008 under the auspice of the President of the Slovak Republic Mr. Ivan Gašparovič.
The collected money has a clear aim – help at buying of the magnetic resonance maschine for the Clinic of Children Oncology in Louis Pasteur Hospital in Košice. After closing the auction were also symbolic cheques for equip children libraries in the amount of 33 000,- SKK in children´s hospitals in Košice and Bratislava provided.
On Saturday, 14 June 2008, was hold the children´s part of the Gardenparty. Auspice over this part was hold by Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová who also oficially opened the celebration. For the kids were prepared in the Grassalkovich Garden of the President´s Palace several competitions, games and also photo signing of the president´s couple. |
