31st annual international fair of flowers and horticulture Flora 2010 in Bratislava visited on 23th April 2010 the presidential couple. Flower lovers and gardeners could find here 150 exhibitors from Slovakia, Germany, Italy, Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Australia and France.

Flora Bratislava

Part of the Flora exhibition are annualy competitions in arranging and bounding of flowers by Slovak and foreign flower arrangers or competition for the most beautiful exhibition, and demonstration of new trends in flower arranging and tying by Slovak and foreign arrangers, as well as seminar on green perspective and special lectures.

Flower of this year’s Flora in the exhibition place Incheba in Bratislava became Grevillea coming from Australia. Aboriginals, the original inhabitants of Australia, made from its sweet nectar a drink called ’coolamon’.
