Not all gifted students can study at a university. And that for a simple reason – lack of finances for the study. For many gifted students is the so called "tuition" the decisive factor. Therefore, on 11th October 2010 the First Lady Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová awarded two students of the University of Central Europe in Skalica social scholarships for the academic year 2010/2011, to enable them to study at this university. This scholarship got 1 student of the second Master’s year Miloslav Strýček and 1 student of the second Bachelor’s year Lenka Motlová. First Lady wished the students good luck. "I firmly believe that thanks to this social fellowship you will be able to fulfill your plans, you have set. I am pleased that the University of Central Europe in Skalica doesn´t forget those who need help," said Mrs. Gašparovičová.

The school implements the social program since the academic year 2006/2007. Auspice over this program holds the First Lady of Slovakia Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová. In social assistance to students from families with lower living standards the university applies the principle of solidarity. The essence of the program is based on the stated objective, which is as follows – be an elite school in terms of knowledge, not a special educational institution designed only for better situated social groups.
