On 7 February 2008 in the premises of the Motor-Car Banská Bystrica took place the III. charity auction "Discover the Secret of Space!", which also attended Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová.
Already for the third time the company Motor-Car Banská Bystrica while presenting a new Mercedes model car, has decided to help also those who need it most. A charity raffle and an auction of art works by leading slovak artists and designers, as well as art glass of Mrs. Gordana Turuk were organized, proceeds of which were rendered to the Slovak Foundation of Silvia Gašparovičová – Education and Health for Everybody.
The proceeds from the auction amounted to 203.000,- SKK and First Lady took a symbolic check. She thanked the organizers for their support in particular for their efforts to help others in need and also to all those who support this event morally, financially and with donations. She highly commended the human idea of connection the presentation of the successful car vendor with charity, especially its author and manager of Motor-Car Banská Bystrica Mr. Kunkela.
Silvia Gašparovičová presented a project for which the Foundation will use the money – again it will help visually impaired children and purchase other special tables for the Primary School for Visually Impaired and Blind in Bratislava.
In addition to the company Motor-Car Banská Bystrica, students of the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Academy of Arts in Banská Bystrica decided to support the foundation with 25.000,- SKK. This money will be used to support of young talents. |
