On December 17th 2008 visited Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová the Shelter of Mother Theresa for homeless people in Bratislava – Petržalka and brought them a remarkable present. 150 kg delicious apples from the sponsor Mikuláš Vareha from Malá Tŕňa made the christmas time a good time for these people in need.
Mrs. Gašparovičová helps through her foundation the poorest ones who need the most help. As she said, „we need to honour especially the willingness and care of the Mother Theresa´ Order sisters – without them this shelter wouldn´t function.“ Actually, 30 homeless men with bad health live here and the sisters are taking care of them. Other homeless people can come here and take a shower or they get a hot soup. |
