The spouse of the President of the Slovak Republic Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová welcomed the actress Soňa Valentová – Hasprová in the Grasalkovich Palace on 25th February 2008.
It was a friendly meeting in which Mrs. Valentová introduced her new children’s book „The doggy Ari“. As she noted although the book is intended for children surely also adults will read it. Shortly also the children in the Slovak kindergarten of municipality Selenča in the serbian province of Vojvodina, which is settled by a numerous Slovak minority, will have a chance to read it. Several books will be also find their way to weak-eyed and blind children in Slovakia. Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová is actively involved in helping this children via her foundation Education and Health for Everybody. Both ladies discussed also the stage play Fiddler on the Roof, where also Mrs. Valentová appears.
